Wounded Sale will be a tough test for Albion

Plymouth Albion head coach James Scaysbrook will have his eyes on a fifth consecutive league win when his team make the trip to Sale FC tomorrow (2pm).
Last week’s 44-21 home victory over Rosslyn Park marked the side’s fourth win on the trot in an impressive start to Albion’s 2020 league campaign.
But Albion cannot afford to let their guard down as they travel to Sale today. Their opposition will be seeking revenge after falling short at Brickfields earlier this season.
Speaking after their toppling of second-placed Rosslyn Park, the former Exeter back-rower had plenty of praise for his players:
He said “There was a huge amount of effort and you saw some of the defensive sets in the first half.
“Particularly in the second half, we showed that we fought for one another and that was the telling factor”.
A wounded Sale outfit will no doubt be looking to cause upset as they look to draw Albion on games won.
The team have won just one of their last four outings: A 33-14 win over bottom-placed Canterbury.
But complacency is no option for Scaysbrook’s Albion team, which is why it is no surprise to see Alex Ducker in the starting line-up once again.
The electric winger scored two tries in last weeks thrashing of Rosslyn park and was named national league one player of the week.
Scaysbrook commented after the game:
He said: “The whole game opened up in the second half because of the work that was done in the first 55 minutes.
“He [Ducker] certainly played a massive part of that in the second half as we managed to pull a couple of scores away”.
A flood of changes have been made to the team that faced Rosslyn Park last weekend. Connor Eastgate moved to fly-half as Josh Skelcey starts at full-back. John Kelly assumes the No.8 shirt while Scott Makepeace packs down as openside flanker. Dan Powell and James Kenny are drafted in onto the bench.
