Sanderson Weatherall Announces Lineout Sponsorship for Plymouth Albion 2025/26 Season

Sanderson Weatherall, the national firm of property experts with a strong base in Plymouth, is pleased to announce a corporate sponsorship deal with Plymouth Albion ahead of the new season.

The sponsorship builds on an already positive relationship, with Sanderson Weatherall having hosted a series of successful client events at Brickfields in recent seasons showcasing the value of sport as a catalyst for professional connection.

Between them, the Sanderson Weatherall Plymouth team bring over 80 years of experience in the local and wider Southwest property market. Their team combines regional insight with national expertise, offering a full suite of services including valuation, business rates advice, lease consultancy, property management, agency, and building surveying. Their clients include owners, occupiers, developers, investors, and financial institutions alike.

But for Sanderson Weatherall, this partnership is also personal.

The team has a long-standing bond with Plymouth Albion – none more so than Mark Slade, a former club captain in the 1993–94 season, who now serves as Head of Agency at the Plymouth office. Mark is pictured below, linking past and present in a story of continued support.

“Plymouth Albion has provided me with friends for life, clients and many opportunities,” Mark shared. “The opportunity to support Albion in this way was an easy decision for us. We look forward to a successful season ahead for the club.”

The firm joins Albion as a Lineout Member – a new sponsorship package for the 2025/26 season that brings businesses closer to the club through matchday experiences, exclusive access, and real community impact.

“We are delighted to partner with Plymouth Albion and the Lineout concept is an exciting one for us,” added Ashleigh Phillips (pictured below), Head of Sanderson Weatherall’s Plymouth office. “It brings together our support of the club with the opportunity to regularly meet fellow sponsors and work together going forward.”

The club is equally thrilled to welcome Sanderson Weatherall into the Lineout.

“We’re pleased to have Sanderson Weatherall on board, especially with such a great story in Mark Slade – a former Albion captain who continues to represent the city through his professional work,” said James Greenacre, Albion Commercial Director. “This partnership shows how the club’s legacy continues to grow through the people who’ve shaped it. We’re excited to welcome them into the Lineout and look forward to working together throughout the season.”

As Plymouth Albion celebrates its 150th year, this renewed connection between rugby and business, between past captains and present ambitions is a powerful reminder of what makes the club special.
