Sanderson Weatherall Continue Their Support as Plymouth Albion Lineout Members

Plymouth Albion is pleased to confirm that Sanderson Weatherall will continue their support of the club as a Lineout Memberfor the 2026/27 season.

After joining the Lineout for its inaugural season in 2025/26, the national firm of property and asset experts will remain part of Albion’s growing commercial community, continuing a relationship with the club that stretches well beyond sponsorship.

Sanderson Weatherall has a strong presence in Plymouth and has regularly used Brickfields to bring clients and colleagues together, demonstrating how rugby and business can create valuable professional connections.

Local Knowledge, National Expertise

Between them, Sanderson Weatherall’s Plymouth team bring more than 115 years of experience across the local and wider South West property market.

Combining regional knowledge with the expertise of a national firm, the team is perfectly placed to provide a comprehensive range of property consultancy services including valuation, commercial agency, property and asset management, business rates advice, lease consultancy and building surveying.

Their clients range from owners and occupiers to developers, national PLCs, investors and financial institutions.

That combination of strong local roots and a wider national presence has made Sanderson Weatherall a natural fit within the Lineout, which continues to bring together businesses from Plymouth and across the region through rugby, hospitality and professional networking.

An Albion Connection That Goes Back Decades

For Sanderson Weatherall, the relationship with Plymouth Albion also has a significant personal connection.

Mark Slade, Head of Agency at Sanderson Weatherall and former Plymouth Albion captain, said:

“Albion has been an important part of my life for a long time, so I am naturally delighted to continue Sanderson Weatherall’s support for another season.

“I know what Plymouth Albion means to the people involved with it and to the wider city. It’s been really positive to see the progress being made at Brickfields and the ambition that continues to drive the club forward.

“From a business perspective, continuing our support for another season will allow us the opportunity to spend time with clients, meet other businesses, and strengthen relationships in a setting that I obviously know very well.

‘’ Having got so close last season, I sincerely hope that this is the season the club gains promotion to the Championship’’

Continuing to Build Relationships at Brickfields

Sanderson Weatherall’s continued Lineout Membership will see the team regularly back at Brickfields throughout the 2026/27 campaign, using matchdays and club events to connect with clients, fellow sponsors and members of the wider Albion business community.

Ashleigh Phillips, Head of Sanderson Weatherall’s Plymouth office, said:

“We have really enjoyed being part of the Lineout and continuing our relationship with Plymouth Albion.

“It gives us an opportunity to support a club with a significant place in the city while also bringing together businesses and creating new professional relationships through the Lineout community.

“We’re looking forward to another season at Brickfields and continuing to build on the relationships we have developed through our involvement with the club.”

James Greenacre, Plymouth Albion Commercial Director, said:

“We’re really pleased that Sanderson Weatherall are continuing as Lineout Members for the 2026/27 season.

“They embraced what we wanted the Lineout to be from the beginning, not simply a sponsorship package, but an opportunity for businesses to build genuine relationships with the club and with each other.

“There is also something particularly special about having Mark involved. He captained this club more than 30 years ago and continues to support Albion today through Sanderson Weatherall. It’s a great example of the connections that remain with people long after their playing days are over.

“We’re grateful to Mark, Ashleigh, and the wider regional Sanderson Weatherall team for their continued support and look forward to having them with us throughout another season.”

The Lineout Continues to Grow

Following its launch for the 2025/26 season, the Lineout continues to develop as an important part of Plymouth Albion’s commercial programme.

Through hospitality, branding opportunities, player sponsorship, community ticket initiatives and exclusive club events, Lineout Members have the opportunity to build relationships while directly supporting the continued development of Plymouth Albion.

Sanderson Weatherall will once again be part of that community throughout the 2026/27 season, and we thank Mark, Ashleigh and the entire team for their continued backing.
