It was our pleasure recently to host students from Wadebridge School as they were treated to a super day at the Brickfields.
The students were given a stadium tour in PL1, before heading to The Bunker, our club gym, for a workout.
Dan Pullinger and Harry Wilkinson then ran a tackle practice training session that saw the lads get through some intense work.
They recharged with a chicken dinner after a hard day’s graft.
Callum Wilson, a teacher at Wadebridge, said: “The whole experience for the boys was brilliant and has really inspired a number of them to push their rugby, to hopefully one day play at a similar level. The structure of the day was excellent and really gave an insight into what it would be like to be a professional rugby player and the day to day activities they would be part of if they made it… I believe it would be great for more schools to experience what we have been lucky enough to experience today!”
