Plymouth College Join Plymouth Albion as Match Day Hospitality Ticket and Board Sponsor

Plymouth Albion is pleased to welcome Plymouth College as a sponsor for the 2025/26 season. Their support includes sponsorship of our Match Day Hospitality tickets as well as a pitchside board, strengthening the longstanding connection between the club and one of the region’s most historic and successful schools.

Founded in 1877, Plymouth College has been educating pupils for nearly 150 years, serving both the local community and families from around the world. With a campus rooted in the heart of Britain’s Ocean City, the school has a long tradition of producing pupils who go on to shape their fields – from mathematicians and musicians to world-class sportsmen and women.

Plymouth College’s sporting record is exceptional. More than 200 pupils have competed on the world stage, and an incredible 15 current or former students represented their countries at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games – a statistic believed to be unmatched by any other UK school.

Their globally renowned swimming programme has produced Olympic and world champions including Ben Proud, Ruta Meilutyte, Laura Stephens, and Honey Osrin. The school also famously educated Olympic diver Tom Daley, England rugby international Henry Slade, British Lion Paul Ackford, and a wide range of elite fencers and multi-sport athletes.

Rugby remains a central part of Plymouth College’s sporting identity. For more than two decades, their fifteens and sevens teams have been among the most consistent performers in the country, producing numerous U16 and U18 internationals. The programme combines strength and conditioning, skill development, nutrition support, match play, and a fixture list featuring top South West schools and national tournaments.

This connection now deepens at Brickfields, where we regularly welcome Plymouth College students on matchdays – including those taking part in our recent Super Saturday programme – and where Albion captain Dan Pullinger proudly serves as a head of performance.

Dan had this to say…

“It’s fantastic to have the school join the Albion family. I’m fortunate to see the strengths of both environments up close, and the core values, ambition, community and family focus at both the school and the club are incredibly similar. This partnership formalises a connection that already feels very natural, and I’m excited to see pupils and players benefit from it throughout the season.”

James Greenacre, Commercial Director for Plymouth Albion added…

“We’re thrilled to welcome Plymouth College into our sponsor community for the new season. The school’s commitment to excellence, character and opportunity reflects everything we value here at Albion. With so many shared pathways – including Dan’s strong role within their rugby programme – this partnership feels both natural and exciting. We look forward to welcoming staff, pupils and families to Brickfields throughout the year.”

As we continue to build connections across the South West, this relationship highlights the power of sport, education, and community working together to develop the next generation both on and off the pitch.
