PLAYER Q&A – Jake Clemson

Players

Once a week we will be doing a Q&A with our players to find out what they have been up to in the various lockdowns and what they are looking forward to when the Rugby is back. Next up Jake Clemson!

What’s are you looking forward to on your first matchday at Brickfields?

‘I’ve only been to Brickfields as an opposition player but know very well how enthusiastic the Plymouth fans can be so I can’t wait for my first experience as an Albion player.’

What have been the difficulties integrating as a new member to the squad in this peculiar time?

‘Obviously, COVID has made it difficult but the lads have welcomed me with open arms, and it helps living with a few of the boys.’

What is something you’ve tried/started doing again since the season was cancelled that you didn’t think you had time for?

‘I’m a massive movie fan so a lot of time was spent in lockdowns watching both new and some classic films.’

How have you been able to work on Rugby throughout the various Lockdowns?

‘Working on position-specific skills is difficult as a forward but I’ve tried to keep as active and fit as possible with the equipment I have at home and I’ve managed to shift a bit of unwanted timber in the process.’
