A Rivalry Returns As Plymouth Albion Confirm 2026 Pre Season Fixtures
Plymouth Albion can now confirm its pre season schedule ahead of the 2026/27 National 1 campaign, with three fixtures set to take place throughout August.
The headline fixture sees Champ side Cornish Pirates return to Brickfields on Saturday 22 August as a historic rivalry is renewed between two clubs with plenty of shared history.
The clubs last met in league action in 2015, while their most recent pre season encounter came in 2023, making this one of the standout dates in Albion’s preparations for the new season.
The pre season schedule will begin with a trip to Swansea on Saturday 15 August before attention turns to Brickfields, where supporters will have two opportunities to see the squad in action ahead of the National 1 campaign.
Exeter University will then visit Brickfields on Wednesday 26 August for an evening fixture under the lights.
