Max Surry Signs for Plymouth Albion
We are pleased to confirm that Max Surry will join Plymouth Albion ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The loosehead prop arrives at Brickfields from BUCS Super Rugby side Cardiff Met, where he established himself as a key figure in one of the most competitive university rugby environments in the country.
A young and exciting prospect, Max made a big impact with Cardiff Met and has earned representative honours with Scotland Under-20s. His international experience includes development fixtures against Wales and involvement in the World Rugby Under-20 Trophy.
Known for his physicality and strong set-piece work, Max adds further depth and potential to the front row as we continue to build for the season ahead.
His signing follows the additions of Sam Daly, Jarrard Hayler, Iwan Jenkins, Chris Preen, James Kenny, and Noah Fenton as we continue to strengthen the squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Max Surry said:
“I’m really delighted to be joining Albion for the 2026/27 season. The club has been building over the last few years and I’m excited to be part of its future. I can’t wait to be part of such a big community and to get stuck into pre-season with the lads.”
