London Scottish 14-50 Plymouth Albion

Plymouth Albion completed a perfect September with another bonus-point victory, running in eight tries to beat London Scottish 50-14 in the capital.

Albion made another flying start, with Noah Fenton crossing twice inside the opening 15 minutes as the visitors quickly established a 14-0 advantage. London Scottish responded through Connor Mounce, but Jarrard Hayler restored Albion’s momentum before Harry Wilkinson powered over from a maul to secure the try bonus point before the break.

Albion led 24-7 at half-time and continued to impose themselves physically after the restart. Sam Daly crossed early in the second half before Rhys Williams added Albion’s sixth.

Bobby Wigginton marked his return from injury with a try before co-captain Jack Oulton rounded off the scoring for Albion, with Frankie Dart’s conversion bringing up 50 points.

It was another strong all-round performance, with Albion particularly dominant at the scrum and lineout as their physicality provided the platform for another convincing victory.

The result makes it four wins from four and 20 league points from a possible 20 to start the National 1 campaign. Albion also finish September having never trailed in a league match this season.
