Jake Clemson Re-Signs with Plymouth Albion

We are delighted to confirm that Jake Clemson has re-signed with Plymouth Albion ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Standing at 6ft 6in, Jake brings presence, leadership, and a wealth of National League and Championship experience into the new campaign, having made more than 130 senior appearances throughout his career.

Originally born in Gibraltar and raised in St Ives, Jake began his rugby journey in Cornwall before progressing through the pathway to earn England Under-18 honours.

He launched his senior career with Redruth in 2017 before earning a move to Cornish Pirates, where he made over 20 appearances in the Championship while also gaining valuable experience during loan spells back at Redruth.

Jake joined Plymouth Albion in 2021 and has since become a familiar and dependable figure at Brickfields. Whether operating in the second row or back row, his line-out presence, mobility, and experience have made him an important part of the squad.

Unfortunately, Jake’s 2025/26 season was cut short through injury, but Albion supporters will be delighted to see his recovery progressing well as he prepares for a return to action.

Now entering his fifth season at Brickfields, Jake’s re-signing adds further quality, depth, and experience to the forward pack as preparations continue for the 2026/27 campaign.

Jake Clemson is proudly sponsored by Steve Lawrie.
