HUGE news out of Brickfields

Morgan Eames Signs for Plymouth Albion

We are delighted to confirm the signing of Morgan Eames ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The towering forward arrives at Brickfields bringing top-level experience, physicality, and real presence to the squad as preparations continue for the new campaign.

Standing at 6ft 7in and weighing 126kg, Eames has built a reputation as a dominant and uncompromising player, capable of making a huge impact both at set-piece and around the park. Comfortable at lock or blindside flanker, he adds power, aggression, and experience to the Albion pack.

Morgan joins Albion from French Pro D2 side Stade Montois Rugby, where he returned to competitive action this season following a spell on the sidelines after minor knee surgery.

His professional career has taken him across England and France, building an impressive rugby CV along the way.

After beginning his senior career with Nottingham Rugby, where he made his debut at just 19 years old, Eames went on to become a key figure for Doncaster Knights in the Championship before earning a move to France with AS Béziers Hérault in Pro D2.

Further spells followed with Gallagher Premiership side Bristol Bears and French club CSBJ Rugby, before his most recent move to Stade Montois.

Now bringing that experience to Brickfields, Morgan becomes another major statement signing as we continue building towards the 2026/27 season.

His arrival follows the signings of Sam Daly, Jarrard Hayler, Iwan Jenkins, Chris Preen, James Kenny, Noah Fenton, and Max Surry, alongside a number of key re-signings already confirmed this summer.

Morgan becomes another powerful addition to Ryan Lamb’s squad as we continue building a group capable of competing at the top end of National League rugby.

Morgan Eames said:
“Very happy to be joining Plymouth at such an exciting time. After a few conversations with Ryan, the vision was clear on where he wants to take the club and I want to be part of that.

It’s a new chapter for my career and my family coming back to the UK, and we’re looking forward to calling Plymouth our home.”

Ryan Lamb said:
“It’s fantastic that Morgan has decided to join the group. He’s a big, physical player with a huge amount of experience at professional level.

After speaking with him at length, it was clear how ambitious and motivated he is, and we’re really looking forward to seeing the value he’ll bring to the squad.”

Morgan Is sponsored by Rob and Lesley.
