Plymouth Albion are delighted to confirm the signing of Brad Howe from Cornwall’s Rugby League side.
Following a lengthy period at Redruth, which itself was preceded by spells with the Exeter Chiefs and Cornish Pirates, Brad switched it up to rugby league last summer.
He has come back to union after a string of competitive appearances at Cornwall, whose union side he helped win the county championship four years ago.
Brad comes to us with a wealth of experience in the game, and we are super excited to welcome him into the group.
After signing with the club, Brad said: “I’m looking forward to a new challenge and a change of scenery, some new faces and some familiar ones.
“This is a higher league and something for me to get stuck into. There are new coaches and a new environment for me, and I’m looking forward to pre-season and adding to what the lads did last season.”
Head coach Ryan Lamb added: “We’re very happy Brad has joined the club. He’s a strong ball carrier but he also has a good skill set and can play across the back row. So, I’m sure he’s going to add a lot to the squad.”
