Plymouth Albion are delighted to confirm the signing of Archie Hill.

Archie is part of the Exeter Chiefs Academy, where we have been fortunate to find plenty of talent in recent years. As well playing for the Chiefs, the outside centre has also gained valuable experience with the Exeter University side, winning the Super BUCS title this year.

Ahead of his arrival, Plymouth-born Archie said: “Being from Plymouth I’m excited to come down and play for the city I was born in.

“I grew up watching Plymouth and I remember my brother being a mascot when he was younger so it is pretty cool to be coming back to the club after all these years.

“A new environment appeals to me and the challenge of impressing new coaches and team-mates is something I’m ready and motivated to do.”

On his new signing, head coach Ryan Lamb said: “I’m very happy that Archie has agreed to come to Albion. He’s a local lad coming with a good pedigree playing for Exeter Chiefs and winning the Super BUCS title this year. So we’re really excited to add him to the squad.”
