Former Plymouth Albion player Mark Hewitt is set to re-join the club as Team Manager ahead of the 2023-24 season.
A former Royal Marine, Mark played for the club back in our Beacon Park days, and represented Devon at County level too. He has since played major roles in player development at Gloucester, Worcester Warriors and Dragons, and has served as head coach at Cornish Pirates.
He now comes to the Brickfields having gained invaluable experience both as a player and a coach elsewhere, and is excited to join the club at an extremely promising time for Albion.
“I’m excited to be involved in this club at a really exciting time for Plymouth Albion. Having played here before, I have a special attachment with the club and I’m really looking forward to getting started in pre-season.”
Head coach Ryan Lamb added: “It’s fantastic to have Mark join the club. He’s very experienced having worked at the highest levels in the game and he will being a lot of value to our already strong team off the field.”
