DUCKER RE-SIGNS

General   Latest News   Players

We are thrilled to announce Alex Ducker has resigned with Plymouth Albion.

The Cornishman showed his try-scoring ability throughout his time at Albion and in late January 2020 won a National 1 player of the week award!

Alex very kindly spoke to us about signing his new deal and what he hopes to achieve with Albion:

“I’m relieved and excited if I’m honest, it’s been a horrible 12 months for sport and everyone really with this covid situation. Just looking forward to getting back to playing.

I’m hoping to improve my all-around game, to be honest, it’s been a long layoff. Scays (James Scaysbrook) really pushed and challenged me last time we played making sure I was being efficient with what I was doing on the pitch and making a difference on and off the ball. So I’m hoping to follow from that really, Damian seems to have that same base as Scays so I’m sure he will challenge the players mentally and physically to get the best out of us.

We wanna win games and build something special, and if it goes the way I believe then we will be up there. But our main focus is Roslyn park at home. Hopefully, the fans are back to give us that boost.”

We can’t wait to see Ducker back out on the field at Brickfields tearing it up.
