Design This Year’s St Luke’s Men’s Day Out Kit
Since 2014, St Luke’s Men’s Day Out has united the city in an unforgettable show of camaraderie, remembrance and generosity. What began with just 574 walkers has now raised over £1 million to help fund the clinical, practical and emotional support St Luke’s provides to people and families across our community facing life-limiting illness.
It’s one of Plymouth’s most-loved annual events — a day of connection, conversation and community spirit as men of all ages walk together in memory of loved ones and in support of their local hospice.
Last year, Plymouth Albion welcomed over 2,500 walkers to Brickfields for Men’s Day Out — a scenic 12km walk through Plymouth’s stunning waterfront and cityscape, starting and finishing at Brickfields, the home of Albion.
This year, we’re hoping to see 3,000 participants take part as the event continues to grow, helping raise even more for this incredible local charity.
After the walk, participants will enjoy some well earned food, a welcome beverage, and an afternoon of unforgettable rugby as Albion take on Rams RFC in front of a packed Brickfields crowd.
Your Chance to Design the Men’s Day Out Kit
As Albion fans know, the day is marked by a special one-off kit worn by the team — with proceeds going directly to support St Luke’s Hospice.
This season, we’re inviting supporters of all ages to design the 2025 Men’s Day Out shirt.

Thinking outside the box with this incredible Ice Cream Sundae inspired kit.
To take part, simply download and print the kit template below, let your creativity flow, and send your finished design to info@plymouthalbion.com. Make sure to include your full name, age and contact details so we can get in touch if your design is chosen.
Entries close on Sunday 1 December, when our judging panel will shortlist ten designs before selecting this year’s winner.
Last year’s winning kit was designed by six-year-old Amelia from a local primary school — a fantastic creation blending Albion’s classic home colours with Plymouth’s iconic Smeaton’s Tower. Her design went on to help raise over £4,000 for St Luke’s.

Inspiration & Ideas
Not sure where to start? Here are some creative directions to inspire your design:
Classic Heritage
Take inspiration from Albion’s proud history — bold red and white stripes, traditional hoops, or a vintage look that nods to the club’s 150-year legacy.
Plymouth Pride
Use the city’s landscape as your canvas — from the waterfront blues of the Hoe to the greens of Central Park. Think Smeaton’s Tower, the Tamar Bridge, or the outline of our iconic coastline.
Community Connection
Consider patterns that represent unity and togetherness — interlocking shapes, footprints, or wave patterns that symbolise the thousands who walk side by side each year.
Out-of-the-Box Creativity
Go bold. Abstract art, modern textures, or even comic-book-inspired designs can all stand out on the pitch. There are no limits to imagination — if it’s meaningful, colourful, or clever, we want to see it.
Be Part of Something Special
This year’s Men’s Day Out takes place on Saturday 14 March, and promises to be another unforgettable celebration of friendship, remembrance and local pride.
Your design could be the one Albion wear on the day — representing your creativity, your community and your support for St Luke’s.
