Daly Returns To Albion

Latest News

We are delighted to announce that back row Sam Daly has returned to Plymouth Albion from Doncaster Knights on a short-term contract.

Sam played for Albion for four years before heading up north to play his Rugby in Scotland in 2019. He signed for Championship side Knights last year, and has now come back to Plymouth until December.

Sam has joined the squad this week, and will start tonight’s pre-season friendly against Devonport Services.

Speaking on his return, Sam said: “It’s good to be back. It’s good to see a lot of the new faces and a lot of the same faces. So it’s good to see everyone and it’s a pleasure to be back involved with it all.”

Head coach Ryan Lamb added: “To have someone of Sam’s quality and versatility come into the squad is a huge positive for us. I’m sure he will have a big impact and we’re really looking forward to him arriving and getting on the field.”
