We are pleased to confirm the signing of Corrie Barrett, who joins Plymouth Albion for the remainder of the season and the upcoming playoff campaign.
The 27-year-old prop arrives at Brickfields bringing experience from across the professional game, adding strength and depth to the front row at a crucial stage of the season.
A versatile operator capable of playing on both sides of the scrum, Barrett is known for his solidity at the set-piece and his work rate around the field. His physical presence and consistency will provide an important boost as we approach the run-in.
Born in Belfast, Barrett’s journey to professional rugby has been shaped by a unique pathway. After early success in Ireland, he spent time developing his game in New Zealand before returning to the UK, where he featured for Bedford Blues, Saracens, and Doncaster Knights.
After signing for Ulster in September 2024, Barrett now heads to Brickfields to support the squad through the final stages of the campaign.
His arrival strengthens the group as we push towards the playoffs and look to finish the season strongly.
