Plymouth Albion are delighted to confirm that Shea Cornish will re-join the club from Exeter Chiefs ahead of the 2023-24 season.

Cornish played 21 times for the club between 2019 and 2022, campaign at the Brickfields, scoring six tries.

The 22-year-old has since gained vital experience at Chiefs, as well as Championship side Coventry, with whom he has spent much of this season on loan.

Speaking on his first signing as head coach, Ryan Lamb said: “I’m really pleased to have a player of Shea’s calibre joining us next season. A lot of supporters will already know what he can do and, after a year in the Championship, he is only going to be better.”

Shea added: “I’m really looking forward to be joining Albion again having been here before. Speaking to Ryan it sounds like the club has big plans moving forward and I’m looking forward to do my part for the club.”
