Chapman Leaves Albion

Latest News

Plymouth Albion can confirm that Hallam Chapman has departed and headed to the Cornish Pirates on loan from the Exeter Chiefs.

Hallam was initially loaned to us from the Chiefs in October following the sad events at the Jersey Reds, and he debuted against Sale in October before scoring in his second appearance at Cinderford.

Hallam has since added further tries to his tally against Taunton and Darlington Mowden Park while becoming a popular member of the squad.

Head Coach Ryan Lamb said of Hallam’s departure: “Hallam has been fantastic for us since joining on loan from the Chiefs. Obviously he had a very disrupted start to the season with what happened to the Jersey Reds but his attitude and performances have been great for us and he fully deserves this opportunity playing in a higher league.

“We wish him all the best and hopefully we’ll see him around the Brickfields again soon.”

Hallam added: “I am very grateful for the opportunity to play at Plymouth Albion, and the way that the whole club has made me feel so welcome from my first day. I’ve enjoyed every game and it’s all testament to the lads as well as the supporters who turn up at home and all over the country!

“Max, Ryan and Aaron have been brilliant whilst I’ve been involved and it is really exciting to see how they are driving Albion forwards. It really is a great club, thank you!”

We would like to congratulate Hallam on his terrific career so far having signed for the Chiefs, and we wish him the very best of luck going forward.
