Plymouth Albion are delighted to confirm Jenson Boughton has signed from Gloucester ahead of the 2023-24 season.

Jenson, who plays at tighthead prop, has featured for the first team in the Premiership Rugby cup during his young career. He’s also played for Cinderford, giving him valuable experience at this level.

Ahead of his arrival, Jenson said: “I’m really looking forward to the new challenge. Albion looks like a team on the up and it will be great to play my part in that.”

Head coach Ryan Lamb has been busy bolstering the squad over the last few weeks, and he is looking forward to working with Jenson.

“We’re very excited to add Jenson to our squad. He’s young and ambitious with Nat 1 experience already can cover both sides of the scrum.

“I’m sure working closely with Aaron Jarvis he will only get better so we’re looking forward to him arriving.”
