Bond Timber Named Plymouth Albion’s Official Training Wear Partner
Plymouth Albion is pleased to welcome Bond Timber as the club’s Official Training Wear Partner for the 2026/27 season.
The South West family business will feature prominently across the club’s official training wear throughout the new campaign, with the Bond Timber logo worn by Albion’s players, coaching team and staff.
From training sessions and preparations at Brickfields to travelling and representing the club throughout the season, Bond Timber will become a highly visible part of Albion’s 2026/27 identity.
Their support will also extend around the ground, with Bond Timber represented through a ground board at Brickfields throughout the season.
The relationship brings together two organisations with proud histories, strong regional roots and a shared commitment to continuing to develop for the future.
A South West Family Business
Bond Timber has grown from the Bond family’s agricultural roots to become one of the leading timber processors and suppliers in the South West.
The wider family business dates back generations, with WH Bond & Sons established in 1957 following decades of farming and diversification across South East Cornwall.
Bond Timber itself was created following the acquisition of Bake Sawmill at Trerulefoot in 2003 and has continued to grow and invest in its operation ever since.
Today, the business supplies a wide range of timber and timber products to trade customers and the general public throughout the South West, alongside providing specialist onsite preservative treatment.
Investment has remained an important part of the company’s development, from new treatment and storage facilities to technology, ecommerce and renewable energy.
As an award-winning timber merchant, Bond Timber has received numerous industry awards and accreditations recognising its commitment to timber treatment, quality and customer service. Most recently, Bond Timber won Quality Wood Treated at the 2026 Wood Protection Association Awards, adding to an impressive list of industry achievements.
The wider Bond family operation now farms approximately 2,000 acres across South East Cornwall and employs more than 60 direct and indirect personnel across its different departments.
At the heart of the business remains a commitment to knowledgeable service, investment in its people and providing high-quality products to customers across the region.
Official Training Wear Partner
As Plymouth Albion’s Official Training Wear Partner, Bond Timber will become a familiar name to supporters throughout the 2026/27 campaign.
Their logo will feature across the club’s official training wear, worn by players, coaches and staff throughout the season.
It gives Bond Timber a presence across the wider club throughout the working week, not just on matchdays, as preparations continue at Brickfields for each National 1 fixture.
Their ground board will provide an additional presence at Brickfields throughout the campaign.
Shaun from Bond Timber said:
