Bond signs for Albion

Latest News

We are delighted to confirm the signing of Jake Bond from Cardiff Met.

Jake grew up playing rugby in Plymouth, and he represented Exeter Chiefs at youth level alongside Harry Wilkinson and Archie Hill.

He would later leave for university in the Welsh capital, impressing with his consistently solid performances in the BUCS league.

An established back row, Jake joins a host of excellent signings added to the squad by head coach Ryan Lamb ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.

After signing with the club, Jake said: “I’m really happy to have signed with my hometown club and I’m looking forward to the season ahead.”

Lamby added: “Jake is another local lad who’s moved away for uni and really performed in the BUCS league. We’re very excited to see him progress in the Albion set-up along with the other lads we’ve brought in this year.”
