An evening with Jack Nowell & Henry Slade

Latest News

Wooden Spoon is a charity that changes children’s lives through the power of rugby. Each year they fund around 70 projects, from community programmes and specialist playgrounds to medical treatment centres and sensory rooms. Since 1983, they’ve distributed over £26 million to more than 700 projects, helping more than a million children.

On Wednesday 28th November, Plymouth Albion hosted a Wooden Spoon charity evening. Guests were treated to a meal followed by a Q&A session with two of the brightest stars of English ruby, Henry Slade and Jack Nowell.

Both players answered questions from the audience and afterwards an auction raised vital funds for the popular charity. A big thank you to all who attended and made the evening a great success.
