Aldermans Back Plymouth Albion for 2026/27
Plymouth Albion is pleased to confirm Aldermans as a sponsor for the 2026/27 season, with their support extending across several areas of the club.
The Plymouth-based metal fabrication specialists are part of our new Lineout Colts Membership, have a ground board at Brickfields and are also the official player sponsor of Albion winger Noah Fenton.
The relationship brings together two Plymouth organisations with a shared focus on ambition, teamwork and supporting the local community.
More Than 50 Years of Manufacturing in Plymouth
Founded in 1969, Aldermans has grown from a small press tool business into one of the South West’s leading metal fabrication specialists.
Today, the company is led by Managing Director Karen Friendship, daughter of founder Bill Alderman, continuing more than five decades of manufacturing heritage from its Plymouth factory.
Aldermans provides bespoke metal fabrication services to leading manufacturing businesses across Plymouth, Devon, Cornwall and further afield.
The company works across a range of industries where high-quality engineered components are essential, including transport and automotive, retail, specialist furniture and data enclosures.
With an extensive range of metal fabrication technology and an experienced team, Aldermans can support everything from small-volume requirements and initial prototypes through to large-scale production.
While the components produced at the Plymouth factory may not always be visible in the finished product, Aldermans has played a part in bringing a number of innovative, award-winning and life-changing products to life.
Backing Albion Across the Club
Aldermans’ support for the 2026/27 campaign will be visible across several areas of Plymouth Albion.
As one of our new Lineout Colts Members, the business is part of the club’s growing commercial network, connecting with other local and regional organisations through Albion.
Aldermans will also sponsor winger Noah Fenton throughout the new campaign.
Their ground board has a prominent position on the far side of the Brickfields pitch, visible from the Stormforce Marquee, Clubhouse and Arborcure Marquee, providing strong visibility throughout the season.
A Shared Connection with St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth
The connection between Aldermans and Plymouth Albion also extends beyond business and rugby, with both organisations supporting St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth through its Lighthouse initiative.
Like Albion, Aldermans sponsors one of the St Luke’s Hospice Lighthouses, reflecting a shared commitment to an organisation that provides vital care and support to people across Plymouth and the surrounding area.
It is another connection between two organisations firmly rooted in the city and committed to supporting the wider Plymouth community.
Karen Friendship, Managing Director at Aldermans, said:
“Plymouth Albion represents the ambition, resilience and teamwork that we value at Aldermans. We’re proud to support such an important part of the local sporting community, and we’re excited about what this partnership can achieve both on and off the pitch.”
James Greenacre, Commercial Director at Plymouth Albion, said:
“We’re really pleased to have Karen and the Aldermans team supporting Plymouth Albion for the 2026/27 season.
“Aldermans is a fantastic example of a successful Plymouth business with a long history in the city, and their support reaches several areas of the club.
“From joining our Lineout Colts and sponsoring Noah Fenton to their ground board at Brickfields, they have really got behind what we are building here.
“There is also a great connection through our shared support of St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth and the Lighthouse initiative, which demonstrates the commitment both organisations have to the wider Plymouth community.
“We’re extremely grateful for their backing and look forward to working closely with Karen and the team throughout the season.”

Aldermans will be a familiar name around Brickfields throughout 2026/27, with their Lineout Colts Membership, player sponsorship of Noah Fenton and ground board giving the business a strong presence across the club.
We would like to thank Karen Friendship and everyone at Aldermans for their support.
