Albion to Mark Remembrance vs Blackheath

Latest News

Plymouth Albion can confirm that our next home game with Blackheath will mark our remembrance game in 2023.

Each year on the 11th hour of the 11th day in the 11th month, we bow our heads in a period of silence to remember those who have and continue to put their lives on the line to protect democracy and freedom, not just in the United Kingdom, but worldwide.

This season, our nearest home game to the 11 November falls on the 4 November against Blackheath. On this day, we will stop in a minute’s silence before kick-off to remember members of the armed forces, past and present, who have and continue to serve this country so bravely.

As part of the commemoration, we will be offering 50 percent off tickets on the gate for current members of the armed forces, as well as veterans.

We ask that you please bring a form of military identification – including veterans badges – with you to the gate and, upon production of this, you may purchase a ticket at half price.

These tickets will only be available to purchase on the gate, and will not be offered online.
