Plymouth Albion grabbed five points from their second game of the season as they beat Taunton Titans 54-29.
A pacy start from Taunton saw them apply immense pressure on the Albion try line, and with Isaac Dalton eventually reaching over to give the visitors the lead.
It was not long though before we found an equaliser, Harry Wilkinson driving over from a maul, and it was in similar fashion that the second try went over, Ramaz Rukhadze driving over.
Some excellent defending from the hosts denied the Titans a way back into the encounter, before a sublime move from left to right played in Billy Orchard. Some outstanding footwork from the winger took him over the line for a try on his debut.
A fourth was added after patient build-up and, when Archie Hill spied a gap, he darted through it to score on his home debut for the club.
Sam Daly nearly drove over five minutes into the second half, but some strong Titans defending saw him off. It did not take much longer though for Harry Wilkinson to dive over for his second on the right side, and a fantastic move played in Pita Ratukadreu down the left for a try on his competitive Brickfields debut.
A solid spell in possession for the Titans saw Rukhadze pick up a yellow card, but the pressure eventually paid off for the visitors when they reached over through Alex Rodd.
The hosts’ lead was extended shortly after though through Morgan Stone’s effort, before Sam Daly powered over to take the tally beyond 50 points.
Taunton grabbed their bonus point with the last action of the game when a break down took Noah Fenton to the try line.
