Albion sign Conrad Burne

Latest News
Our first XV squad has been further strengthened by the signature of exciting outside back Conrad Burne.

The 26-year-old comes with a verified pedigree as a finisher, having represented England as a junior sprinter and featuring in the prodigious London Irish academy.

He signs from Tonbridge Juddians where his scoring prowess shone in a disappointing season for the Kent-based club.

Speaking of joining Albion, Burne said ‘I’m delighted to sign with Plymouth Albion whose rich history and fans made it an easy choice. What most attracted me was the club’s vision and ambition this season. I can’t wait to get stuck in and work with the likes of Ryan and Damian.’

With the ‘Prince of Plymouth’ Alex Ducker and ‘find of the season’ Craig Duncan already stand out for Albion in the wide channels, the signing will further strengthen Albion’s firepower.

Speaking of the signature, back and attack coach Ryan Lamb said “Conrad has lots of experience in the National Leagues and we’re really excited to have him with us this season. He’s a natural finisher and a great addition to our squad”
