Plymouth Albion fell to a first home loss of the season at the hands of Darlington Mowden Park on Saturday.
Albion took an early lead when the ball broke to Jordan Gotts. He offloaded to Jack Oulton, who jinked away from the defender to slide in for the hosts’ first.
That lead was doubled when Hallam Chapman powered through and reached over, but DMP grabbed one back through Max Fraine at the other end shortly after.
They levelled things up down the left side after a good break on the wing, taking the sides into the break all square.
Tom Putt came off the bench to knock Albion three back in front, before three late scores from the Durham-based outfit turned it around and earned them a bonus-point win.
Ryan Lamb’s team will look to pick themselves up from the disappointment at the Brickfields when they head to Leicester next Saturday for the re-arranged fixture.
