It gives us great pleasure to confirm that we have signed a two-year contract extension with Princess Yachts.
Princess have been a special part of the Albion family in this capacity since January 2022, and we have since created so many memories with them both on and off the field.
The deal will see the luxury yacht manufacturer sponsor the club for a further two years, furthering their support of our summer camps and Super Saturday, programmes close to our hearts that allow us to encourage rugby in the community – particularly among young people.
Princess Yachts’ commitment to supporting youth rugby at Albion is further affirmed by their continued support of Project 150, through which we are developing an official women’s and youth side.
As part of the renewed package, Princess Yachts have also taken on Phil Jones, who has become a community ambassador ahead of the new season, and will be representing them in a variety of fun events in the coming months.
Speaking on a fantastic moment for the club, Managing Director Max Venables said: “We are delighted by Princess Yachts’ commitment to the club, and it is our pleasure to continue to work with them for another two years.
“We have enjoyed a successful partnership with Princess Yachts so far, and we are looking forward to the exciting benefits this extension will have for our community.”
Adrian Bratt, Executive Director at Princess Yachts, added: “We are delighted to be increasing our support of Plymouth Albion. Through this partnership, Princess can continue our wider support of the local community, encouraging children and young people to get involved in sport, and at the same time promote the important fund-raising efforts of local charity work.”

“I’m really excited to get involved with Princess Yachts this year,” said Phil Jones. “They’re a globally recognised brand and the fact that they’re continuing to support the club in numerous ways is excellent for everyone involved. It also shows that they truly believe in the club’s plan to continue growing into a true force of English Rugby, by choosing to sponsor the club for another two years.
“I’m excited to see new and familiar faces from Princess at games and events in the coming couple of seasons.”
