Acronyms Renew Their Sponsorship with Plymouth Albion

Plymouth Albion is pleased to confirm that Acronyms will continue their sponsorship with the club for the 2026/27 season, extending a relationship that continues to make an impact both at Brickfields and across the wider Plymouth community.

Acronyms will once again be part of the club’s Lineout Membership, continue their ground board sponsorship at Brickfields and renew their sponsorship of Albion player Ben Moa following an impressive individual campaign last season.

Their continued involvement reflects a relationship that has grown beyond traditional sponsorship, with Acronyms actively engaging with the club, its supporters and the wider community.

Backing Ben Moa for Another Season

A familiar name to Albion supporters, Ben Moa will once again be sponsored by Acronyms for the new campaign.

Ben played an important role in Albion’s 2025/26 season, and Acronyms are proud to continue their association with him as the squad prepares for another National 1 campaign.

Frazer Lloyd-Davies, Marketing Manager at Acronyms, said:

“We’re delighted to be partnering with Plymouth Albion for another season, and as part of that proudly sponsoring Ben Moa for another year, after a fantastic campaign for him personally.

“Ben’s a consummate professional, a core member of the squad and, alongside his teammates, a deserved winner of the accolades they picked up last season. We know the end of last season hurt Ben and the squad but can’t wait to see what they achieve together on the pitch in the coming year. We’re proud to have him represent us here at Acronyms.

“We’re once again excited by the progress being made on and off the pitch by all at Albion. It really is a community club, with everyone from the matchday staff, supporters, players and management pulling together to build something our city can be truly proud of.

“We love playing our own small part and, after what feels like a long summer, can’t wait for that first fixture.”

Creating Opportunities with YMCA Plymouth

The relationship between Acronyms and Albion will once again reach beyond Brickfields through their support of YMCA Plymouth.

As part of their sponsorship, Acronyms have donated Plymouth Albion season tickets to YMCA Plymouth, helping give local disadvantaged families the opportunity to experience live rugby at Brickfields throughout the season.

Frazer added:

“A big thank you to Albion for their continued support to that community by allowing us to provide YMCA Plymouth with season tickets. YMCA Plymouth do vital work for all ages in Plymouth and these tickets will allow people that may otherwise not have the opportunity, to experience their own taste of live sport.”

Sarah from YMCA Plymouth said:

“We are hugely grateful to Acronyms for donating Plymouth Albion Rugby season tickets, giving local disadvantaged families the chance to enjoy memorable days out together.

“Thank you for helping us create positive experiences and bring joy to families in our community.”

The initiative reflects something at the heart of both organisations: using commercial relationships to create opportunities that extend beyond simply placing a logo around the ground.

James Greenacre, Commercial Director at Plymouth Albion, said:

“Acronyms are a brilliant example of what we want our commercial relationships at Plymouth Albion to look like. They have really embraced the club, whether that’s through their Lineout Membership, their presence at Brickfields, continuing to sponsor Ben Moa or using their involvement to create opportunities for others within our community.

“The season ticket initiative with YMCA Plymouth is particularly important because it gives families who may not otherwise have the opportunity the chance to come to Brickfields and experience an Albion matchday.

“Frazer and the team genuinely care about the direction the club is heading and the city we represent. We’re extremely grateful for their continued backing and look forward to building on what is already a fantastic relationship throughout the 2026/27 season.”

From their presence within the Lineout business community and around Brickfields to their continued backing of Ben Moa and support for YMCA Plymouth, Acronyms have become an active part of the wider Albion community.

We would like to thank everyone at Acronyms for their continued support and look forward to working together throughout the 2026/27 season.
