A Statement from David Venables

General   Latest News

“First of all, I’d like to thank you on behalf of the family and Plymouth Albion for your loyalty and hard work during this difficult period. And although it hasn’t helped the club financially, having clear instruction from both the Government and the RFU at least allows us to know what we are dealing with. As you will be aware the RFU banned all rugby activity at 6:30pm on Monday until the 14th of April, and we will continue monitoring the situation. Obviously, we have £0 income until then as outside of rugby we are an events/hospitality business. We are working tirelessly with the council and banks to see what help is available i.e. repayment holidays, loans and SSP. We will keep you informed of any developments as soon as we have news/updates.

We can assure you that we will do everything we can as a family to keep the club going!

Regards, David Venables”.
