Young Duo Commit to Plymouth Albion for 2026/27
We’re delighted to confirm that Ben Sharpe and Henry Sellick will both be part of our squad for the 2026/27 season.
The pair represent another exciting step in our commitment to developing young talent, with both players earning their opportunity after impressive performances over the past year.
Scrum-half Ben Sharpe joins the senior squad after completing his final season at Hartpury College.
An exciting young prospect, Ben featured throughout our 2025/26 pre-season campaign and marked his performances with a try against St Austell, showing the pace and confidence that caught the attention of the coaching staff.
Now ready to make the step into senior National League rugby, Ben adds further depth and competition to the squad ahead of the new season.
Joining him is Henry Sellick, who returns for another season at Brickfields after a productive first year with the club.
The former Exeter Chiefs Under-18 and Tiverton player spent last season on loan at Barnstaple, where he became a regular starter and finished the campaign with an impressive 93 points.
That valuable game time has helped accelerate Henry’s development, and he now returns to Albion ready to compete for opportunities throughout the 2026/27 campaign.
Ben and Henry join Sam Daly, Jarrard Hayler, Iwan Jenkins, Chris Preen, James Kenny, Noah Fenton, Max Surry, Morgan Eames, Jack Oulton, Dan Pullinger, Morgan Stone, Archie Hill, Shea Cornish, Jake Clemson, Bobby Wigginton, Harry Legg, Ben Moa, Oscar Stewart, Liam Bishop, Joel Broadhurst, Harvey Courtis and Josh MacAndrew as our squad continues to take shape.
